RB951G-2HnD – Mikrotik – the RB951G-2HnD is a wireless SOHO Gigabit AP with a new generation Atheros CPU and more processing power. It has five Gigabit Ethernet ports, one USB 2.0 port and a high power 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n wireless AP with antennas built in. It is a 2.4Ghz Access Point, has 5 x Gigabit Ethernet ports, a USB port, built on a 600MHz CPU with 128MB RAM in a small enclosure.

*NOTE* The 2.4 GHz radio provides a powerful narrow beam that will usually have further reach than that of a 5GHz equivalent.
The primary differences between the 2.4 GHz and 5GHz wireless frequencies are range and bandwidth. 5GHz provides faster data rates at a shorter distance. 2.4GHz offers coverage for farther distances, but may perform at slower speeds which is the trade off.

We provide scripting pre-programmed for advanced firewall protection such as “Denial Of Service” protection – DDOS, Port Scanner protection, Syn flooding protection and the current SpamHaus and malc0de scripting that updates daily and our own current IP Black list.
